This project was a remodel of an old building that had many uses including a brothel, a theatre, a JC Penny’s and more recently, an appliance store. Old tunnels used for running alcohol during the prohibition years were found during the excavation. The key to building this successful project was to design the building in context with the surrounding buildings. We were honored to have received two regional awards for its design.
